Junior Full Stack Developer (m/f/d)
About PAXLY
We're a B2B SaaS startup helping companies digitize their packaging procurement. You'll work directly with the CTO and a senior developer.
Honestly: "We don't have the capacity to mentor someone who needs hand-holding." You'll start with smaller tasks and take over complete features end-to-end within months.
Your Role
Develop features on our Java/Angular platform used by paying customers. Grow from smaller tasks to full feature ownership. Work on a real product solving real problems.
What You Bring
Must-have:
- Solid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, "how things actually work")
- Experience with Java or Angular (university projects, internships count)
- Demonstrated coding experience (portfolio/GitHub preferred)
- Self-driven and curious
- Professional English and at least B2 German
Nice-to-have:
- Smart use of AI coding tools (with understanding of the code behind it)
- Interest in modern AI approaches (LLMs, prompt engineering)

- Backend: Java 17, Dropwizard, PostgreSQL
- Frontend: Angular 16+
- Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3), Docker, Redis
- Emerging: Python/FastAPI
